S3 is a 2.5-way passive multi-purpose speaker featuring Passive End Fire Technology broadband directivity control and multiple user adjustable directivity patterns. S3 can be used as a stage monitor, compact club system, as a single or an arrays and installations ranging from small auditoriums to big sporting venues.

Horn-loaded 10" driver and side-firing 6.5" drivers create cardioid polar pattern utilising patented Passive End Fire Technology. This is due to carefully matching the sound wave travel distances between side-firing drivers to the internal propagation delay of the horn sound paths. This arrangement of the two bands overlapping increases the sound pressure level at low frequencies.

S3 features asymmetrically mounted HF section that helps when creating arrays of two S3 enclosures are combined together creating an arrays with varying vertical and horizontal coverage with very precise directivity character. High LF cut off frequency of 3kHz makes it possible to use small diaphragm lightweight compression driver for high frequencies for increased sensitivity and HF resolution.
