i5 is a compact passive column loudspeaker based on the same unique high sensitivity 3” cone driver used in the i3 and F-Series products. It consists of five drivers in a curved vertical array and utilises a custom acoustic waveguide increasing internal summing, directivity and efficiency. i5 features the same natural uncoloured acoustic reproduction as the other i-Series models. The acoustic output of the i5 is easily comparable to most standard 6”+ 1" or double 5" loudspeakers but with increased far field projection.

Similar to the i3 and i3PR, the i5 does not feature an internal passive crossover. Creating a flat phase response and extremely accurate transient response. The lack of a crossover also avoids the common decay and tuning related problems associated with other designs. The custom waveguide delivers a 90 x 30 degree dispersion and makes the i5 able to direct sound where you want it and not where you don’t. Two i5’s can be mounted in a vertical column to increase the vertical coverage and available power.

An 80 Ohms i5HiZ version is available as a custom order enabling multiple units to be powered by a single amplifier channel and longer cable runs.

As a multi purpose enclosure i5 features M5 rigging points and array accessories as well as standard 35mm pole mount adapter. Available in black or white textured paint finishes the i5 is a flexible installation speaker.
